Dr. Tavoossi has joined our Seton Smiles Orthodontic team to create beautiful smiles for our amazing Orthodontic patients. He looks forward to meeting you and your families. Dr. Tavoossi is originally from British Columbia and has been an Albertan for many years now.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic specialty degrees from the University of Alberta. Dr.Tavoossi also spent a year at the University of California, Los Angeles doing a General Practice Residency where he treated special needs and medically complex patients in the hospital setting. He received numerous awards and honors over his 11-year educational journey towards becoming an orthodontist. He loves sharing his passion for orthodontics with his patients and feels that being an orthodontist is the most rewarding career as he helps create beautiful smiles while building personal connections with his patients.

In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite trips include volunteering in Guatemala and participating in a dental exchange program in Germany.
